Pomegranate
Pomegranates are grown mainly in the south of Israel, where the conditions are ideal for optimal fruit development.
The production calendar is divided into two main groups:
Early Varieties Group: Neta, Emek, and Acco.
These varieties, harvested from August to October, are known for soft seeds, a sweet taste, and low acidity.
Late Season Group: Wonderful variety, harvested from September to December. These pomegranates are larger in size and have an excellent sugar/acid ratio.
The growing conditions, including temperature, sunlight, and humidity during flowering, ensure the best internal and external characteristics of the fruit. A steady supply is maintained for more than six months of the year, with an annual volume of 6,500 tons.
Emek is an early variety. It has a beautiful crown and a relatively big size. Emek is available from the beginning of August.
